"The People's Jersey" is a City Edition design for the Minnesota Timberwolves that celebrates the resilience, unity, and culture of Minneapolis. Drawing inspiration from the city's transformative journey, the design incorporates meaningful symbols like the heart, representing love, and the lotus, symbolizing unity. The vibrant color palette is inspired by the iconic Bob Dylan mural, "The Times They Are A-Changin," reflecting the city's evolution and enduring spirit. Key elements, such as the Mississippi River and the phrase "Where there's people, there's power," honor Minneapolis's role as a center of strength, activism, and connection.

 

This project embodies my belief in design as a tool for storytelling and community-building. Through thoughtful integration of history, culture, and identity, "The People's Jersey" serves as a tribute to the people of Minneapolis and their unwavering ability to come together and inspire change.
