The Willbo Pickleball Club collection was a rewarding opportunity to work directly with Willbo USA in Laguna Beach. This project focused on creating designs that merge functionality with a clean, stylish aesthetic, tailored for the brand’s audience and location.
For this collection, I designed a polo tee, a skort with built-in ball pockets, an undershirt or crop top, and a branded pickleball racket. Each piece was thoughtfully developed to prioritize functionality while staying true to Willbo’s laid-back but polished style. The materials, cuts, and details were chosen to ensure players could move comfortably while looking put-together, whether on the court or off.
Final Thoughts
This project was about finding the balance between form and function—designing pieces that support movement while aligning with Willbo’s west coast aesthetic.
Every detail was considered in this collection, from the practical design of the skort’s built-in ball pockets to the lightweight construction of the polo and crop top. The branded racket serves as both a functional piece and a cohesive extension of the collection’s identity. Through these designs, I aimed to create a cohesive collection that fits seamlessly into the active, contemporary lifestyles of Willbo’s audience.
